We might could get a couple of inches here in Starkville, but I-20 will get hammered today. Would be the biggest snow event in a long time for many places in south MS

Anywhere below I-20 could go noticeablyover predicted amounts. This is gonna be one hell of a storm. Being from Birmingham, I always compare things to the blizzard of '93. This wont be that intense, but it wont be that far behind it in terms of some of the overall number of inches seen in places.

"Climate change" was actually termed when Gore's folks decided they didn't want to be wrong either way. Go talk to Geologists and archeologists and ask them what they thing about "climate change." They'll tell you to go look up the difference between weather and climate. Climate is always changing which is why we have ice ages and warming periods...to say it's changing is correct, but with 100 years of data concerning something that changes over thousands.....sometime millions of years and saying we can predict anything is just complete and utter ******** and then to add fossil fuels as the cause is even more ********. When the prophet is making a profit from propheting, you may want to look into the facts.

rant over.

OH NO!!!!!! White Death!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is happening and it's happening at a far greater pace than at any time in recorded human history. Global warming doesn't mean that every single part of the globe is warming. We happen to live in a rather small part that is staying fairly constant. But especially at the high lattitudes it's happening at an unbelievable rate. It won't be too long before there will be commercial shipping lanes through the Arctic Ocean in the summers, and that ocean has always been frozen solid year-round.

some areas are cooling and some are warming....there is nothing "global". 25 years ago it was global cooling and now its the opposite. Follow the money boys.

So what if its warming...deserts used to be under water and now they arent. So what...its called a CYCLE and has NOTHING to do with man made anything, and it is arrogant to think otherwise.

It has been warmer and colder many different times through the past and for people to think that we can control how the planet works temperature wise are just being arrogant. It is something that is not in our grasp to control.

By the way there is more sea ice at the polar ice caps that there was back in the 50's and 60's when there was actually open water there and the polar ice caps have grown by record amounts in the past year.

are people who don't believe in global warming.

There could be 8 inches of snow in south Mississippi today, and soon summers in the Arctic could have no ice. Just like it's always been huh? Dont think global warming, just think climate change.. And it is happening..

Now this thread can be locked
