“It was extremely fun hanging with the guys,” Whitehead said. “I see it as a big family, a great team. I think they’ve got something to prove next year. Don’t be surprised if I end up a part of it.”
“(The weekend) just set the tone of what we’re trying to get accomplished,” Whitehead said. “We’ll know Feb.
“It was crazy, man,” he said. “Everybody knows who you are. Everybody loves the Ole Miss Rebels. They were showing us mad love.”

you not reading tidbits.

Personally, I still think it could still go either way. I hope we get him, but if we don't, oh well, good luck.

They must be showing him message board postsby fans from other SEC schools praising Nutt and Nix much like the ones we got from other schools when the Slytanic had us scrambling for life boats.

I don't think we will get Whitehead. I want him to come to MSU because I think he will be a fantastic addition, but I just don't see it happening. I guess he's going to go ahead and make it official soon. If he's not going to commit, I want him to go ahead and say it so we can move on to our next available. We need to get another corner if Whitehead isn't coming to MSU.

The point was that if they "ALL" want to play together, they'll be doing it a JUCO b/c all those guys aren't going to make it Oxford. or wherever they sign.

Whitehead himself is fine

Well, since you know each kid's academic situation, would you include Arrington in that group of playing JUCO ball? Just curious. It's funny that you only have the academic thing come up over here when it doesn't effect you.

Arrington is in the same situation as those that will sign with Ole Miss academically. Some aren't eligible as of this minute, but all are on track.

Joe was all smiles as you can tell that he is really soaking it the whole thing in.

Countless people came up to him and told him how glad they were to see him in Oxford.

You could tell he really appreciated the "love".

Xxxx's personality is reserved by nature, and he was no different on the visit.

He did open up somewhat as the night went on, but he was very curtious, classy, and just liked he was a veteran of the recruiting game, although this was his first official visit.

All signs looked good to me, from the naked yet.

Yancy's view of Whitehead? No. Joe McKnight. He was a great one for the Rebs.

Paul Jones's point was that if you are writing for a website, it might be good to check with the player and/or coach before you report about it.

The "won't qualify" card is always the last one played.

Once someone plays the "won't qualify" card (especially when said recruit has a whole semester and a summer left and the poster really knows nothing about his academic situation), they have hurt feelings and are officially moving on.

MSU sure wanted him all year, for a guy that can't qualify. Maybe that's why they don't have him now. Maybe they backed off due to grades.

We both sign guys every year that don't qualify. It happens, but it seems that more and more MS top ten players qualify each year. What was the number of qualifiers from the MS top ten last year?

What does that have to do with this thread?

I know about the guy on the coast writing a story that said Arrington may not qualify, but nobody here mentioned that.

Are you saying Indymainstay only thinks that because of the article? I don't think there are any articles where Pogue says Brassell won't qualify. I doubt there are any saying this about Tobias.

I thought he was commenting on the fact that the Chase guy said Arrington was going to JUCO or to USM and it pissed off some State folks.
