They have struggled with the jump shot at times this year. The only way they win if they can control the tempo and turn it into a physical game.

and Palacios. Both missed 11 games, I think. 1/3 of the season. If they are healthy all year, Louisville is an easy 2 seed. I think they lost to Cincinnati and Seton Hall during that stretch they were out.
They both played significant minutes in those games. And neither of those guys solve their jump shooting problems.
Speaking of frontline talent, Derrek Caracter let it be known today that he's taking his 8.5/4.5 to the NBA. Good timing Derrek.

I think Tenn. has a little more, but only a little. Pitino is better than Pearl, but I think Tennessee wins a close one.

And those numbers were put up against Boise and Oklahoma - two bad teams. Granted you don't think defense when you think of Bruce Pearl and Tennessee, but they won't shoot those kind of numbers against the Vols.
The officials seemed a bit up against it. Louisville had the energy. Pitino is not one to bet against.
