Good job by Stans changing defenses to zone against the guard heavy Rebels. I hope we see it agian against smaller teams in the SEC. Also putting the game in Bost's hands was crucial to the win today, let him loose more often. Horrible sub pattern in the first half with the line change. Benock is horrible and should only see scrub time. He took randy out when he was hot in first half and he cooled as usual when back in. SWAT plays so much better in the zone, he goes for the block too much in the man defense and Kodi always leaves his man to help, which leads to a dunk or layup. Good to see Osby play at the 4, finally. I also like how Stans sat Ravern when he struggled in first half. We played horrible man defense in the first half, which probably let to the change. Riek is one tall mother +@%**#, good minutes from him today. The future looks bright for the dawgs... Bost has to lead more often and we can win the west...

Bost is the Key to our season..... More Bost, Turner, Osby, & Riek, less Kodi, Benock, & Randy.....

Maybe Coach Stans simply went to a zone because Reik is too freakishly retarded to guard anyone at this point. Him moving reminds me of watching the Discovery Channel with a giraffe just being born, except Reik isn't covered in gore..... Maybe, just maybe he was sitting on the sidelines praising Randy and Benock as the most valuable pieces to the puzzle because they are such great defenders and said, "Oh man, Jarvis can't play 40 and I have to get Reik some minutes, maybe I could play some zone to protect him?" Then blamo, Olemiss couldn't score and he had the sense to stick with it! Blind squirrel finds an acorn?

Or was it part of the master plan that they drew up well in advance of the game and just happened to use it at a good time?
I for one am very pleased with the victory. I don't care how it happened so long as it happened. Road win against a ranked team is whats up. Props to the Coach and the team. Stop the bellyaching.

Bost is the key to our success or lack thereof for the remainder of the year. Our offense is more dynamic when he is able to drive. There is no one else on the team that can or is willing to penetrate. It's nice to see our offense doing something other than pass around the perimeter and a) lob to JV for a weak offensive move or b) throw up 3 (which may or may not be contested). I enjoyed watching our offense the 2nd half today more than any other half this year (minus the stretch where Randy went brain dead).
