I totally agree. I have enjoyed her analysis during the men's cames. She seems very knowledgable about X's and O's. She is young and dynamic so I think she'd be an effective recruiter. I'd say give her a shot.

I remember her on the court - she was great. And she is a good announcer as well.

One he lives in Lexington. And even though I know he's from Mississippi, I don't know too many people who would make that move unless there was a boat load of money involved.

Which brings up the next problem. He has a 5 year rolling contract at $600K/yr. If he goes to one final four - and he has a great shot this year - it goes to a 8 year rolling @$850K/yr. If he goes to a 2nd it goes to a 10 year rolling and $1MM per year.

Is MSU willing to double down on that deal for a women's basketball coach? Plus his buy-out?

And there is one more fly in the oinment. Pat Summit is done at UT. He'll be on their short list and they pay well.

She's an assistant at Montana State. Probably not the best hire to win games, but I think we'd all agree that being hot is much more important. Other candidates can be found here:

Too much support and too much $$$$ where he is or the other stops he can have before MSU.

...The problem with winning in "womens' sports" is that a woman begins to derive her self-esteem from something other than what she was meant to do, which is be a good wife and mother.

At worst, many otherwise healthy strong women who could bear many sons for her husbands become Lesbians. After all, when they win, they start hugging each other and slapping each other in the butt in the showers and developing a bond that could lead to unnatural acts. Losing makes the players hate each other and other women authorities, and turn to their future husbands to derive their happiness and satisfaction.

When girls decide to stop being better than men, and try to become "equal", our society suffers. Guys play sports to impress women...what do women play sports for?</p>

to impress women. To be elite in any sport you have to begin playing at a very young age. Way before the thought of impressing women creeps into the mind.
