I believe in science.

www.off-guardian.org/2020/03/24/12-experts-questioning-the coronavirus-panic/

I believe in Dr. Wittkowski, perhaps the most accomplished expert in the world in his field. I believe Dr. Bhattacharya of Stanford. I believe the Swedish scientists who advised against a lockdowns.

SCIENCE.

My damn self. I stay a distance away from other people, do not go where there are high risk potential, hang out in crowds, wash my hands frequently, spray disinfectant, wear a mask when needed at work and out and about. It is real, I neither go over board and think "OMG I am going to die", but i also do not take it lightly and just throw caution to the wind.

So pretty much I practice cautiously optimistic.
This is the right answer.

No credible scientist has made any specific announcement or proclamation about anything. If you ignore them saying “Nothing is certain” or “We simply don’t know” it makes it a lot easier to say they were wrong.

No matter who you follow, things seem to change week to week if not day to day. Fauci can be non-committal, but has been pretty consistent with his statements and medical / science informed beliefs.

What none of these experts will say is:

How long is too long to keep schools, small business, large business, stores, etc closed? How long is too long to prevent people from exercising their rights? How long do we stay closed down if this virus turns out like the flu and shows up every year? Nobody is asking these questions and they won’t answer.

How long till people lose their homes, cars, able to feed the family? The government has no money. The debt now will never be paid off.

China has played us and we are letting them, and they are laughing. China was on the verge of economic collapse till they turned this virus loose on the rest of the world. But by all means, you all keep listening to the experts till we have no country left. Best learn Chinese.

Ahh I remember the good ole days when scientist called it global warming.

Science has been proven wrong more often than proven right. So far all the models on this thing have been so far off, they are not worth paying attention to. Climate change scientists told us Miami would be under water by now. Believe them at your own peril.

Every scientific expert plays it overly cautious. No one is going to blame a scientist or doctor from saying my bad, I was too cautious and I did it to save lives. On the flip side they put ZERO thought into what that means to the economy and families that are losing everything because they don't have a job. And rightly, they shouldn't from a purely medical stand point., but that is why you cant just run with SCIENCE!!!! Awesome completely destroy the economy and 40 plus million lose their jobs and have almost no chance to recover after this, but some people are terrified of this so I will look good when I say keep it locked down. And for the record haven't missed a day of work since this started but I know several who have been furloughed to have that turn into their place of employment closing permanently. But luckily those 20-40 year old people who had about .0001% chance of potentially dying from this wont get it now.

Remember, the flat earth society believes the virus is from outer space. Since I have worked in Wuhan and been and seen what goes on in these wet markets, eventually they will produce something that can’t be cured. However they have beautiful women like no other city in China. Big French influence in Wuhan.

are you going to post a pic, or just leave this post hanging?

But homeless ones are better? If you are that scared stay home and never ever come out, I am beyond ecstatic to support everyone that is that fearful on two conditions. My tax payer funds aren't supporting you in any way and you don't get to tell everyone else they have to stay home because you are scared.

Wrong your tax payer money is funding me! Thanks for that by the way.
Not scared, just smarter than people like you. Natures process of natural selection. Make sure they put how brave you were on your headstone.

Two experts that immediately come to mind are Stephen Moore and David Stockman. They are economic experts and what they are saying is terrifying. They're not talking about the virus, either. We are committing economic suicide, which will lead to worldwide death tolls multiple times higher than anything the virus could cause (and much will be because of starvation) and all because of people who are either (A) leftist activists who WANT the Depression so as to impose socialism, (B) hypochondriac cowards, or (C) both.

Not the media. Regardless of what your affilation is, you should be disturbed at the constant gotcha game the press is trying to play as opposed to gathering information. Here's one of the worst offenders:

First the press was mad claiming he was rushing reopening. Now they are mad he won't take power from states. Like Ed, the press is clueless on federalism, or atleast know ppl like him are.

Some disgruntled leftist liar falsely accused Florida of doing so, and you believe it. Shocking. Almost as shocking as Pennsylvania and Colorado having to reduce the death totals when the fraudulent nature therein was discovered.
Georgia is next to be caught

More pro-virus propaganda. I'd listen to economic professors, as opposed to Professor Lockdown (Neil Ferguson) who has only been wrong about every prediction for every pandemic in modern times, but who violated his own lockdown to go shag his married lover. I wonder if he was doing this while (allegedly) positive himself, and wonder if he passed it on to her, and, indirectly, to her husband.

Guess you can't handle some humor. But about your rant, would have your stock broker advise you on your health?

Well at least you admit you are a coward and no shock you are a stay home or everyone is gonna die as long as big daddy government pays me to stay here. You are so smart and brave as long as everyone works at the places you need services from, I assume you are wishing death on mail carriers, grocery store clerks, gas station clerks, you local utility workers, cable services, etc...but of course you aren't because you want those people to work because like every other liberal wack-a-doo its all about you and as long a you get yours then that's all that matters. Always show their true colors. You calling yourself smart literally might be the most comical thing I have read. Being a coward afraid of a virus that has been ridiculously overstated isn't intelligence, unfortunately for you its just the opposite.
