I think it is very disrespectful to our current coach to have a thread like this.

To all those who would reject Brohm because of his ties to Louisville...did you support the idea of Petrino coming here (because he damn sure would've screwed us the first chance he had)? Do you think Louisville had any trepidation for hiring Howard Schnellenberger because he was a former all-American and assistant coach at Kentucky? I don't. If Brohm could come here and make a winner it'd be HIS team/program. And he's have more support than he could shake a stick at. The idea that he'd immediately run to UL isn't an automatic, imo, and we'd be crazy not to approach him if it comes to that. JMO.
If UL is coming after Coach Brohm it means they've just fired or lost their coach and he's winning at UK with an exciting brand of football. IOW, forget about it. If that's the case he'll already be a living god at UK and only something big (much bigger than UL) will lure him away.
It is disrespectful to have to watch UK football like this.
Put me in the Fleck crowd as well. Dynamic young coach with head coaching experience and has turned a dumpster fire program at Western Michigan around quickly. Lets go get him.
...also, I'm a Western Michigan guy. I went there and taught there (and had season tix) before coming down to UK. I wish my Broncos could keep Fleck forever....but realistically I know he is a guy on the way up and he is going to end up somewhere else sooner rather than later. I would love to see him coaching the Cats.
It surprises me that people seem to prefer mediocre proven quantities (Leach, Schiano) over people with big upside. I guess we are gun shy about guys with "upside" because we were told that about Joker and Stoops.
