Today is just 15 minutes of tv versus the actual Super Bowl game.

The next few days I absolutely love though. Nothing like games starting every 20 minutes.

Nope, I don't attend or have a party for Selection Sunday. I don't see how simply calling names to fill in a bracket can be more exciting than the Superbowl. Now our NCAA game itself unless the Giants are in the Superbowl I could get on board with.

Which is only slightly longer when you take out the half time show, and all the commercial breaks, ads, station id's and superfluous "analysis" of what just happened and what will happen....but doesn't.

Not even close. SB in 1st round KO, quicker than the infamous Marvis Frazier dive.

My own personal opinion is today is much more exciting (and nerve racking when your team is involved). Even all those years we didnt have a shot, I loved this day
Hell yeah. It's all weekend and before. But today has games leading up vs. endless fill hours.

This year's Super Bowl had Pacheco and Burton, so that tips the scales a bit, but not enough to overthrow the excitement of today. Given the long-suffering of the fans being ameliorated by the recent success and future hope (Griffiths, Davis, Ndongo, Bailey [Harper?]), today is a huge moment for us. Mag goes down and we collapse, then we resurrect with a win over UM and by playing Purdue close, so are naturally amped for today. Part of it is the hope Derek has given us that with a little bit of speed we are, and will be, a lot more difficult to defend.

Selection Sunday/First Four/First two rounds of the tournament are my favorite week of the year.
