Who else is enjoying watching Penn State lax embarrass themselves?

10-3 at the qtr, Irlan was 10-4 on Faceoffs. PSU clearing poorly.

Now 10-5, and Irlan starting to tire, so it's not over. PSU has used 4 FOGO so far.

BTW - Either of these teams would have destroyed Duke or Virginia today.

Now 12-7. The Las Vegas O/U was 34 1/2. Looks like the over.

Glad they’re out but still annoyed at how they’ve raced past Rutgers as a program. I’m sick of rooting for other teams to fail in the post season since we’re never there.

It’s not rocket science. Did you see the investments they made in their program?

Have you donated to help Rutgers?

I have a lot of respect for what they’ve done. That team is fun to watch. That was the national championship game. I’m confident both Yale and PSU would handle Uva with some ease.

If our new facilities don’t bring in better recruits, then I don’t know what to say.

I honestly believe we need a lax stadium. Nothing worse than seeing 500 fans in HPSS for a Feb game. THAT being said I would like to think the new facilities WILL help recruiting. Obviously making the NCAA’s would, as well, so fingers crossed.

You're right. In fact, Penn could probably handle them both as well. The only way Monday is a game is if Irlan is too beat up to play.

NJ kids, like every other sport, are a tough get for Rutgers. The facility will definitely help, but there is more to it than that. Every team has great facilities.

The good news is the staff is really good at identifying talent and works their asses off. You just wish NJ kids were more receptive. It really helps the scholarship situation with in state kids.

I was very unimpressed with the Duke Uva game. Neither team seems all that great. Uva in particular. They are having an all time good fortune year. Every bounce has gone their way. And questionable calls.

I was at Lacrosse Unlimited yesterday in Red Bank and not a single RU item anywhere in the store. This place is 40 minutes from RU. I could see if we stunk but this program is legit and getting better. I asked the guy why no RU gear? He said they had some 2 years ago and it didnt sell. Yet they had Navy lax, Albany lax etc.

I’m not surprised to hear this, sadly.

Navy, or Army or Princeton for that matter, I can see. But Albany? Maybe leftovers from the Thompson era.

Sad but true, I wish there was a dislike button for your post. Not because you posted it, but because of the lack of brand recognition for our program (and Rutgers sports in general).

Rutgers PR/marketing department is probably the worst in the country.

That takes more money. Donate.

Someone was advocating to let an intern handle social media, lol.

Schools have departments dedicated to that.
