You are only guaranteed free speech from the government. It's not between private companies and citizens. The government just can't imprison or punish you for your speech, except in the event it can cause harm.
Unless he is somehow being punished by the government, he still has is right to free speech. That doesn't mean there aren't consequences from private companies or private citizens.
Private companies have a right to protect their interests as well. If his words negatively impact them, they certainly should have the right to negate that. His free speech rights aren't any more prevalent than the rights of others, including businesses.
Facts. You have to be blind or in on it to not see it. Nobody shows more division or tries to silence people they don't agree with more than these clowns.
And I don’t think you understand the history of both Jews and People of Color in the United States. You certainly don’t understand, as someone who married into a Jewish family, that these same things parroted by groups like the Black Israelites and endorsed by Irving and West are the exact same tropes that have been used for a long time to hurt Jews in this country by “white Protestant” Americans of a certain class.

I can’t stand him, but bringing up free speech here is a mistake far too many make. The first Amendment regarding free speech involves the government. Government cannot restrict free speech. An employer most certainly can and often does. You can’t say or do anything you want and get away with it, especially if you do it during work hours or on your employer’s property. People are often fired for saying things even while not on work time. These days people have been fired for things they said years in the past.
Both groups proudly declare themselves Marxists.

second, while I agree you shouldn’t take to Twitter to blast your employer. Where do we draw the line? I did not see where Kyrie was talking negatively to the nba or said the nba backs up his promotion of this film. A private employer should not have the authority to dictate what you can say if it’s not directly about them
I think she broke the law and is paying the consequences. It’s not for me to say well it’s just oil so whatever, she went to a country, where she has played for years and broke their laws. Wether I agree or not with the law is pointless. To act like she’s a victim and that she’s illegally incarcerated is flat out wrong and that is the narrative I have a problem with. I also don’t support trading an arms dealer and one of the most wanted individuals on the planet for her.

My employer doesn’t allow political campaigning or solicitation of any kind including charities, fundraisers ect. We have a list of charities supported by my company that we can donate to how many times we want and how much we want.
there are no voter registration drives, no wearing of campaigning attire, etc.
And you know what? My workplace is great and no one is crying about their free speech being taken away.
I hope that Kyrie gets the help that he desperately needs.

You can’t silence someone just because you don’t agree with them when you promote players taking a stand for social and political issues.
I’m just telling you what the Constitution says. The current administration violates more laws than the mafia. The 1st Amendment, like all of the amendments making up the Bill of Rights, lays out the rights we have simply for being born and a U.S. citizen, and states that the government cannot infringe on those rights. It simply does not apply to private citizen issues. Go off on a racist rant on Twitter and see how your employer responds if they find out about it. Another example. You have the right to protest, but you do not have the right to protest on your employer’s dime or property. That’s why NFL players taking a knee during the National Anthem is not protected speech. They were doing it as employees, on their employer’s time, and on their property. They could’ve taken action against the players and it would’ve been completely legal. They just didn’t want to hear the criticism for doing so.
