Hopefully Donnie, butler, RB coach, DL coach and anyone that does anything with recruiting.
I will say this, so our DL and OL coach were from the NFL.. serving as “assistant coach”
These guys were not the DL or OL coach for their teams, they were the NFL equivalent of a GA
how about we hire some real fvcking coaches that actually coach a good line somewhere?

Changes have to be made before that . The portal opens January 2nd . Players have to now who they are playing for.
What decent DC or OC are going to take a job under a lame duck head coach that will be gone in 13 months?
If you think Rhule will be fired after next year, you are going to be very disappointed.
With that buyout Rhule isn’t going anywhere other than the bank in 13 months. I can still remember the howls and distress when we paid BC 4 million to go away

Satterfield’s contract ends at the end of December.
It doesn’t matter. We just have to wait till Rhule is fired and pray to God someone with some sense makes a good decision. There’s no evidence that Matt Rhule can take this team to another level.
If Rhule had a brain he'd fire Butler and go after Scott Symons or Rob Aurich.

Most of the assistants do. Satterfield is one that does not.
Start with the dead weight. Phil Snow should be the first to go. The defense couldn’t be any worse without him. Is Ed Foley still on the staff?
I would like to be hired as director of common sense. When you've run the ball right down a team's throat the entire half, have one of the best RB in the country who is absolutely cooking, a freshman QB who is hobbled, it’s snowing, and its 2nd and 4......run the ******* ball.

Holgorsen has been a big disappointment this year. His job should be in jeopardy, but probably isn’t.
That used to be the biggest factor but now it seems $$$ has more influence in the decision. Same for BB. Kelvin Sampson said in a news article that players go where they are paid the most these days. Guessing CFB is the same way.
If NU truly increases NIL significantly for next year, that should make a huge difference in the quality of the roster. The big question is whether the coaching staff can do anything with it.
I feel like Phil Snow was probably nothing more than a voice in the room. And a voice that probably doesn't always get listened to. Who knows?

Seems like the offense could have been more creative and the play calling (based on who was in the game) less predictable. But in his defense, he did have to completely change his approach when Dylan went out. And people were clamoring to get a RB over 1000 yards. And get the ball in the hands of our best playmaker (Emmitt). Cut down on sacks-- that certainly happened but then the WR production fell off the map. There was some good with the bad.
Because Troy Dannon like spending lots and lots of money. That's why! It's nothing that can't be made up with some donation requirements going up next year. Gotta make the ends meet!
The OL and RB coach need to go. I’ve seen enough. Let Satterfield’s contract finally expire and subtract him from this team. Any of these non-coaching consultants making $200K+ (eg Phil Snow) need to be ruthlessly evaluated regarding the true value of their contributions.

If we want to do better at developing our players, here’s a radical thought: Stop hiring people for coaching positions that aren’t currently working in that role at full capacity. We have had that under Rhule with OL, DL, DC, and WR. And the results track.

anyone and everyone involved in mr's contract extension should be permanently banned from anything to do with the football program
I expect nobody to be fired (Rhule is too soft to fire anyone) and most the posters here to start butt funneling kool aid again before the spring thaw.
Mmmm. I wouldn’t be so certain about nobody leaving. I suspect there’s a guy or two who have been given permission to look for other spots.
probably will know tomorrow if the raiola gang is in or out....next years offense will need to be decided on quick for correct portal decisions
In my perfect world? Donnie, Butler, Eckler takes over linebackers, and Satterfield. And I’m not even kidding… Bring Brian Ferents in to coach TEs. Time to build some freaking run blocking-touchdown catching weapons and draft picks at that position.
