I would love to see Orgeron at Vandy. The clash of cultures would be interesting to say the least. Plus, how hilarious would it be if Orgeron was consistently successful at Vandy when he couldn't win at Ole Miss.

**Orgeron is the perfect ambassador for an academic school

That said, it wouldn't really show anything if he can win elsewhere, as he readily admits his failure was his fault. I saw an interview where he said when he makes decisions he now thinks how he did it at OM and just does the opposite. That's actually kind of funny

I have no animosity towards O. Wasn't his fault he was hired for a job he was completely unqualified for.

It won't show anything, but it will still be fun to point out. But good on O for saying it was his fault. He could have done something ****** like complained that UM didn't give him enough time because they didn't like Cajuns and acted like it was everybody's fault but his.

And talking about being hired for a job he was completely unqualified for, it's hard to believe that as recently as 10 years ago, it was conceivable that not one, but two SEC schools would hire candidates whose only success prior to being named head coach was as a position coach.

Vandy could step back next year. During their bowl game, they were talking about all the players that were leaving, including the QB, Jordan Matthews, and the entire secondary.

Good point. Perhaps one of the best measuring sticks of how far the entire conference has come in the late BCS era.

Not to hijack the thread but this reminded me, I saw one of those old "O the coach stickers" the other day. Wonder why they don't have "F the coach" stickers?
