One would think that UVA's Renaissance men would have better things to do with their time than troll ag school fan boards.

We'll get there this year, unless we have to face Miss St. BTW, I'm beginning to hate schools with the initials MSU. Whether it be Michigan St. or Mississippi St.

BTW, the game goes final. Wahoos win 10-0 over George Washington. 25-4 overall record. 10-2 in conference. Not too shabby.

It's very similar to the Sabre actually in terms of format. How come sometimes when I click reply, it's a Quick Reply and other times it's not?

If you want to talk baseball then don't show up to a MB acting like a 17ing douche bag. Either you're that stupid or just flaming. Simple lesson.

Just what happened to the ACC in this basketball thing?

In case you didn't know already, the rest of the conference despises Duke in basketball. However, they are gonna be absolutely loaded next year. They got 3 players out of the Top 10 coming in next year, not to mention, they already have some pretty good players coming back. Carolina will be nasty too of course. Louisville will begin ACC play next year as well. Virginia should still be strong.

Not trying to start anything, just curious.

You'd be very hard pressed to find an OM fan that would deny that MSU owns them in actual baseball accomplishments.

We've been back to Omaha 8 times since they last went, I'm pretty sure. Lead by about 40 games in the all-time head-to-head. Literally, the only snapshot in most of our lifetimes they've ever experienced/sustained superiority to us in was their nice 05-09 run -- of course, we still went to Omaha during those years -- and they still haven't been since the early 70s.

ACC has had such success in the CWS ...

Not trying to start anything, just curious.

Last ACC team to actually win the CWS was ....

Mighty Wake Forest and the year ....

1955, just shy of 60 years ago.

And, you seem to really want to ... "start something"

My favorite biscuit is a chicken biscuit with ketchup. Our cafeteria in high school would run out every morning during break. Dawgstudent and I always had two. If I had some jungle juice from the corner market and a chicken biscuit right now, the day's problems would melt away.

I used to get a slushy for $.50 in our school cafeteria. We used to see who could drink the biggest first gulp without getting brainfreeze.

The key to avoiding brainfreeze is protecting the roof of your mouth

When the roof of the mouth gets cold, the body responds to protect the brain from doing the same by sending a rush of blood to the brain. If it does happen, alleviate it by warming the roof of your mouth by rubbing it with your thumb.

im pretty sure if we played a lone dead guy, we would beat them by AT LEAST 11 runs...

was martha holding down the outfield?

we played martin van buren earlier this season in a friendly, and beat him 347 to negative 67. hes a second tier president tho, so we have to factor that in, but still, its hard to imagine only plating 10 runs against a dead guy.

That was my trick. I'd try to direct the slushy under my tongue. It wasn't as enjoyable, but when it came to accomplishing my goal, it was a successful approach.

Speaking of a dead guy have you seen the dance Oakland County Coliseum does when CoCo Crisp comes to bat.
