Who has the better Defense Bama or UF?

I know that we played UF without the eye gouger but their D held us in check. Of course everyone knows that we scored 14 on D. I think that the question could be the rumor or speculation that Bama will play a nickel the whole game to prepare for Florida. Will it give us an advantage to play Bama against a D that they are not used to playing. If they can stop us early playing straight up it will be a long night.

Remember, Spikes was out as well as their 2 DT's and a DE was banged up. We couldn't do anything against them.

Compare the box scores of Florida's and Bama's games against LSU. They tell the story. LSU had 250 yards against Bama and 161 yards against Florida. Remember, LSU only had 263 yards against us so they aren't exactly an offensive juggernaut.

By the way, I didn't realize how bad Bama dominated LSU until I looked at the boxscore. I wasn't able to watch the game. They outgained them by 200 yards? Jesus Christ.</p>Edited to add: compare the boxscores of the UT and Kentucky games as well, the other common opponents for them. Kentucky had 133 yards rushing. I hope we get that much.

Not to say UF has slouchy schemes because that is certainly not the case... But Saban's defenses are usually going to be the best coached defenses in the country

If they play a nickle defense against us all game long, that should in theory make it easier to run against them, which is the strength of our team. And it also means that they are overlooking us, which is certainly in our favor.
