I've never liked ul or ever wanted them to win anything just because "they're a ky team."
My dislike really festered into hatred years ago when part of my wife's family married into a vill family, and after mingling with them at family functions etc. i came to realize how they looked down their noses at any and all kentuckians outside jefferson county---especially anybody living east of I75.

They truly believe they are the upper crust of ky when actually they are stale crumbs.

I've always considered them lower indianans and i really don't think much of hoosiers, neither.

As far as football, this team still has players recruited by "Show Cause" Hurt and Charlie Strong. Since he paid players to come to Miami, you know he paid them to come to UL.

I'll take our fball team everyday over the outcasts/criminals/left-overs kicked off other teams and the absolute POS's that make up the Petrino/Pitino/Jurich trinity. Go ahead and keep bashing UK because we didn't hire Petrino, but I'm one of the members of BBN who enjoys having a coach I can look at without wanting to cringe.

Sorry but I wouldn't take five Jurich's for one Barnhart unless I had a "win at any and all cost" mentality. Barnhart offers something that Jurich doesn't offer: honesty, integrity, selflessness, and a moral compass!

If only you could include a "good AD" in your over the top praise. With what you mentioned he would make a great AD for the Vatican. Of course they don't have a football team and would never let him touch the basketball team if they had one.

I'd like to feel the same way, but I can't. I harbored no ill will toward WKU or EKU, for instance...until I found out how much they hate UK. So now I'm like whatever, fine, I hate you too.

Oh it was directed at you. If you envy Jurich/Petrino so much, you should root for them. I'll gladly go to whatever bowl game UK will be in and root for the guys in Blue and White, Stoops included.

I'm with you. EKU fans act offended at the mention of UK football. Look in the HL when someone writes to rip our team. It's always some EKU chode
