I have thought for the last few years that, as horrible as it is to think about, Jack isn't going to be doing play-by-play forever. I think it pretty much has been determined that Jim will take over the play-by-play eventually. When Jim is with baseball, late in the basketball season, I think it would be wise to bring in Shane Power to do the color with Jack. It provides a little bit of a breather for Jack and see if Shane would fit in that role. Same with Matt Wyatt for football. Put him on the sideline and move him to the booth eventually. I could see it like this.... Football...Jim, Matt, Bart Basketball...Jim, Shane Baseball...Jim Again, I hope this doesn't happen for a long time, but I am sure Byrne is making plans.

The insight you would lose from John Correro would be irreplaceable

No thanks for telling me the answer to my question.

AA - heard Jack say Houston, but doesn't know of a Houston that would do this

but Correro had at least a couple of good calls. "Who gives a flip" when we got a celebration penalty after the improbable comeback against Auburn in 1999 and "Jack, I think this is going to be another one of those dissappointing losses to Alabama" after we blew a 10 point lead against the Tide in 1994. Also, always heard that his wife (Glenda?) was instrumental in getting David Fair to make a whopping 4 or so on his ACT.

No idea who he is, either, but listening to his post-game is one of the most brutal things I've ever forced my ears to endure.

something, he doesn't have much of a future in broadcasting based on listening to him on the radio....that was terrible
