Who is jelly roll?
He’s a singer. I’d never heard any of his songs but the family wanted to watch this season of American Idol together so I reluctantly agreed. Have to admit I enjoyed it and was great to see a guy from Meridian win. That said, Jelly Roll was featured on it mentoring the contestants and he seemed like a good guy.

No secret I'm an older 6 Packer and admittedly quick to judge. When I first heard his name and then saw him I was extrelely quick to judge. I'll admit I was wrong, seems like a genuinely changed good guy to me. Joe Rogan has a good interview with him and as does CBS Sunday Morning

To make it Six Pack-related, Jelly has lost over 200 lbs. the last year+. Cameron Hanes got him to run his first 5k race last year.

Jelly Roll story. I admit I judged this book by its cover at first but man what a gift of song writing this man has

Dang he was fat before. Having just learned about him recently and only seen him in his current shape, that was a bit of a shock. Jelly Roll was a big ol boy when his first songs came out.

Pretty cool story, though. Good for him.

Listened to an interview. He seems to truly have Jesus in his heart, the middle east Jesus not Mexican Jesus. He does a lot of good in the world.

He appears to be a good guy now, but has quite a past. Look at the prison tattoos. He's a good singer.

He is a good songwriter. The only problem is I feel like they've tried to shoehorn him into everything.
