Good morning guys,

I'm efforting to add a couple of new writers to the BDJ staff. Much like we have Coach Sherrill and Matt Wyatt... I would like to add a few more former Dawgs to the nix.

I have a list of my own, but who would you like to hear from on a regular basis?

Let's here it...

I think the quality of the articles might depend more on things we as fans don't know much about - like who is a good story teller and who writes well.

That said, Rockey Felker has been around the program forever. He probably has stories to tell. I imagine that might not be possible as long as he's got his day job with the athletic department.

Ron Polk. Richard Williams.

Hmm...

Richard Williams.

It would be nice to have someone with baseball insight to comment on baseball the way Matt Wyatt and Jackie Sherrill bring insight to football.

If not Brantley, then somebody like him.

Willie Blade, Mario Hagan, Smoot, Bean, Pig, Joe Lee Dunn someone that can give the insight into the defense that Wyatt brings to the offensive unit.

You ever personally talk to Brantley? Possibly the most arrogant SOB I have ever met or been around. He wouldnt be able to write about MSU baseball without mentioning himself every five minutes.

Smoot, Ed Smith, Robert Bean, Scott Westerfield. I could go on and on, but there's a few to add to the list.

I'll second that one. I miss Charles Rhodes quoting Charles Rhodes. Seriously though, Timmy Bowers, Shane Power, or Winsome would be good for basketball I think.

Of course, with Polk's rambling writing, the 2 might just cancel out and somehow come out with something coherent.

Who else out there could give us the insight of what it feels like to be Zach Smith, Wade Bonner, Marcus Washington, any DB on our roster not named Charles Mitchell.
