Who is Will James?

I often try to figure out various things about posters from the things they post like Im sure a lot of you do. Like age, education, single or married, if went to State and what year, type of job, played sports, etc..

I find myself asking this with Will James a lot more. I realize some of these things may already be known and I wasnt aware, but here's my best guess feel free to chime in...

1. No college degree (might be working on getting it though?)
2. 21 years old
3. Single. Last gf was online
4. Played sports in HS but never was a starter
5. Lives within 60 miles of Starkville but hasnt been to a game in 2 years
6. Does not have a job.

The next few months are going to be unbearable

Todd tends to post more during baseball season. I can handle that because he has something to say and obviously has a passion for baseball. Coach34 dominates the posting during football season, but he is like the sixpack mascot, you've got to love him. Coach is entertaining, passionate, and can defend his opinion. However, this idiot Will James is going to drive me off the board during baseball. I don't think I can take another 3-4 months of him. I'm afraid it's going to get worse when league play starts.

A little hint: I have been selected as dude of the game once this year.. Pretty much because they asked me if I was a student and there weren't any others around the grandstand.

There is a huge difference between C34's passion and WJ's self-consumed know-it-all bickering. WJ claims he's the know-all, end-all to anything baseball and claims most of us agree with him (which if I do agree with what he said, it's not because he said it, it's because I know enough about baseball to have a pretty good idea with what works and doesn't work). It wouldn't be so bad if he just simply had a strong opinion (C34), but there is no "talking" or "conversing" with Will James, he tells you what to think because he has the answers and has put himself on a pedestal claiming to know everything there is to know about baseball, and is the first to chime in to tell you he disagrees. He then challenges you to defend your opinion so you can say something and he'll tell you how wrong it is. I know plenty of people like him. Coach34 will strongly disagree with you, but he's not NEAR as self-consumed with himself as Will James... and that says a lot...

People constantly trying to defend points against him only make it worse... every baseball thread now turns into a lineup or a **** argument and it's the same constant circle of posts. I don't know of anyone who cares if he is right, except himself. The difference between him and C34 has been around long enough and has enough of a track record he can "blow his own horn," occasionally, but I've also seen him recognize when he was wrong (albeit, rare occasions). He's also far more civil to talk to.

If he'd just start his own thread giving his own analysis of a situation he might be more tolerable. Replying to everyone's post to tell them why he thinks they are wrong and how stupid he thinks they are makes him one of the most obnoxious posters on this board.
