Lee or Dixon? I would imagine they will put 13 players in the box and force Tyson to win the game against man coverage. Hope the OL is ready for their toughest game all year. Can we quadruple team Cody or is that legal?

Both Lee and Dixon need huge games without turnovers. Oline is playing there best ball in years and think they handle cOdy also need great blocking out of the backfield. Needs to be the perfect storm on both sides of the ball.

I disagree I don't think either needs a huge game, they just can't turn the ball over (Lee). I think the most important aspects for us is either getting a pick or a big return from Berry. We're not gonna drive on their D, gotta get good field position, then take advantage of it.

way in most games.
Sherril use to have these signs all over the team mtg rooms and in the locker rooms.
1> Run the football. --- We are going to have to establish at least a semblence of a run game to open up the play action and make them respect our passing game. We CANNOT get into 3rd and longs too much or they will eat us up on the blitz.
2> Stop the run. --- Easier said than done with Ingram and Richardson carrying the pigskin. If we can keep their OL off our LB's, we will be ok. I'm worried we wont be able to man up with Jones and Maze all day though.
3> Win the special teams game. --- Hutchins has to have a big game. No 30 yard punts unless it pins them inside the 15.
We will have to make them drive the field and they may be able to but giving them short fields wont help our D. Punting the ball to Arenas is a no-no. I rather see us kick it out of bounds at the 35 than punt it straight down the middle and let him get rolling.
Field position will be huge in this game.
4> Eliminate stupid penalties. ---No false starts, no holding on the outside by our WR's on big plays and no 15 yd personal fouls that give them extra yds or back us up even more.
If we do all of this, we have a chance but unfortunately uat is pretty dang good and we cant match up w/ their speed on D and in the WR's playmaking ability.
It will take a special teams play and a couple of turnovers by them to really give us a good shot at winning.

because if we can pass, it will allow Dixon more room to run.

If he can by some miracle find O'Neal Wilder wide open like he did against UK, and actually connect, that will be a big, big plus.

What I think we need to do is go into the game not worrying so much about stopping Ingram, but containing him. If he gets 100 yards, fine. But no 50 yard runs. We need to pressure McElroy, and make sure that we have Langston on Julio Jones at all times.

On offense, we need to ride Dixon as much as possible, and then try to find Bumphis in space, and then try to get the ball to either Green, McRae, or Wilder deep when Bama loads up the box. We also need Chris Relf to give us a few good runs when he is in the game as well. Our o-line has to have their best game of the year.

On ST, we have to be careful with Arenas. We have to play solid and we need Brauchle back so that we don't put them on the 40 every single time.

Finally, I think we are going to have to do something ballsy like the fake punt against Florida, but we have to make it work. No more gadget plays featuring the Deuce. I'm thinking about something like a flea flicker, a Bumphis pass, or something of that nature, a fake spike play. We'll see what Dan cooks up.

We need all hands on deck, especially on "O".

Not that we don't need Dixon, but we must be able to pass to win this game, running I think will be most difficult.

I'm sure Mullen has a good plan, He last played Bama last December(as you know).

against an Urban Meyer type spread. I don't know why. Could very well be Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin, but Utah didn't exactly have UF talent and made Bama look silly.

Hopefully, that trend will continue.
