Yes, this has been the format for football since realignment in 2013. The winner of Region D plays the winner of Region C and the winner of Region A plays the winner of Region B. The team with the highest regular season power rating (points) is the highest seed throughout the playoffs including the State Final.
Looks like it will come down to Tuscarora and Loudoun Co. LC won regular season meeting 20-14
Kettle Run looking pretty good too. I would put my money on Tuscarora to come out of the region.
Kettle Run is undefeated, but their opponent's record is a combined 16-43. The last 2 opponents Handley & Sherando will be more of a test. The playoffs will be a big step up in competition for KR, compared to their regular season schedule.
Way to early for this but Steve-O is coming to the Burgland Center on the 3rd....The only way Salem would host the state semifinal game is if they were playing Sherando or Millbrooke?
