17 Seconds to go, Bama has ball, and the broadcasts in Jackson (105.9) stays in commercial while the action is going on. They came back just in time for me to hear Vanardo block a shot and time expired. Pathetic!
In 1989, with 3 seconds to go, MSU kicked a field goal to win the game at USM. The radio broadcast was away selling Golden Flake potato chips or something when it actually happened and only returned as the crowd is going wild (because the crowd in H-burg was 2/3 MSU fans as usual) and Jack saying, "...Joel Logan has just kicked a __-yard field goal with 3 seconds remaining to put MSU ahead..."
