Anybody remember the guy that came up with the Bulldog Blitz concept?...

I believe his name was Bill McCrillis if I remember correctly?

He was AKA 'Superfan' and was a fixture at football games with his signs and what not. After Bulldog Blitz he was actually given a position by the university of some sort but never seemed really comfortable with that. Don't think it lasted long.

What a cool memory cue. Made me remember being on an elevator with Haddix in 81

I was about 12, and I just remember him being completely ripped, and all the grownups shaking his hand. He was a nice guy, and the hardest running back I've ever personally witnessed (1980 of course).

Bill McCrillis

I worked with Bill in 1975-76. That is when he started Superfan. I would see him at Jackson games dressed up in his uniform and cape. He left and went to work at State doing something with promotional items in the athletic dept. I lost track of him after that. Does anyone know what he is doing now? His is Superfan. His wife use to do catering, and she was from an Ole Miss family.
