If the ransom demands are from the people who did it, I’m going to guess she’s in Mexico and it’s some kind of semi-terrorist low budget drug cartel. I can’t see a heavy hitter cartel risking starting a war over for a single small potatoes ransom.

It also doesn’t make sense that this is USA based operation. I don’t care what kind of crypto or VPN you funnel this through. It’s a suicide mission. Even if you get payment, you WILL get caught if you stay in America. It may be in days. It may be in months. But you can’t hide this kind of money for long.

It feels like these ransom notes are legitimate though based on the videos being released by the family.

I told my wife it has to be someone outside US. Just doesn’t make sense other wise.

I have a cousin in Memphis who was kidnapped and held for ransom in the attic of a church Back in 1982.

Dadgum..... my aunt and uncle were members at Christ United Methodist Church. Never heard about this, but I had just moved to Memphis in 1981 from Starkvegas.

This was my other thought. That she is now in a different country. So rather really close or really far. No in between

My fear is that she's already dead and all this back and forth is the kidnappers trying to get money, while the family et al try to determine if whoever they're communicating with actually has her and if she's alive.

I wasn't impressed with the Sheriff in charge from the very beginning. He just seemed a bit aloof on a lot of things.
I don't find him impressive either, but it's more that he likes the camera but he's also in over his head. Remember that sheriffs are elected, not necessarily based on law enforcement talent or experience. It would be better if more experienced law enforcement, such as the FBI, was in charge.

Especially since she is on several medications for BP and heart conditions.

I’m going with a Savannah stalker. Just seems so random otherwise. She’s not even an insanely wealthy person.

Here's what happened. The plan was to hold her for ransom, but being elderly she died at some point. The adductors have hid the body, but are trying to play this out and still collect the ransom. They are likely in old Mexico.

Someone who came to the house (maintenance or service of some kind) with connections to organized crime. I’ll be very surprised if she is still alive.
That’s what I have thought all along.

I doubt many sheriffs are really qualified or have the experience to handle a case like this. This is what the FBI is for.

Pretty sure it was the Nazis and they plan to use the money as well as Savannahs news influence to destroy our democracy. The van the neighbor reported driving thru the neighborhood was all white. You know what that means. Hopefully we can make the connections and tie this back to Trump thru Steve Bannon. Stay strong fam

She might still be alive or she might be dead. She probably was put somewhere all alone while the kidnappers are somewhere else sending the ransom notes. I think the media has put her in more harm's way. They are consistently having former police officers and FBI agents on talking about all the ways they will catch the kidnappers. What I mean is all the technology that keeps anyone from getting away with crimes. They said that there are trail cameras on in all the area around the neighborhood tracking animals. The houses all have cameras on the roofs. Doorbell cameras. They have photos of every car that came into that neighborhood that night. They know all the different directions those cars could travel. Then they just look at the cameras at traffic lights, stores, gas stations and so on tracking those vehicles. They have her pacemaker. They know where she was when it stops registering. With the media talking about it and all those things they might panic. When people panic, they do stupid things. They will catch them one way or another.
