We were at Yo Mama's in the Quarter, and as soon as the kick went through.... Pandemonium. That's the only way to describe it. I talked to some people that said it was so loud at times in the Dome that they couldn't hear the person next to them. Must have been awesome.

I definitely felt pain in my ears at times.

Yeah, there wasn't much point in having a conversation to the person next to you that was longer than 2 short sentences.
