With Byrne leaving us for Arizona, who do you guys think will be next in line to replace our beloved Ninja.

Not saying he's my choice, and I'm not saying he's not, but I think that's who it will be...

I think he'll move quickly to name Stricklin. Scott's followed Byrnes' every move and knows the plans we have in place plus a rapport with all the donors. A quick move eliminates any chance for LT and his crew to make a push.

Call me what you will, but I will quit giving to the BC if LT is ever involved again. We all thought he was a bad AD and then Byrne proved he was actually an atrocious AD.

Pure speculation by me on the first part.

will make a push to get him back, but I think Keenum prevents it from happening.

Byrne was great, but we all knew he was a career guy, and blowing his career by trashing the NCAA over their treatment of MSU was never going to happen. LT was the same. can we find someone without that misaligned incentive?

it would be incredibly stupid as an AD to publicly bash the NCAA.

i should have put in "effectively". i don't want someone just to rant and rave and only accomplish bringing even more BS down upon us. someone would have to convince me the Kang and his never-ending lawsuit would work in our favor, but on first thought i'm leaning in favor.</p>

Nothing good comes out of the comment section of any news article. Nothing. Ever.

It always tranforms into politics or racism. It never fails. YouTube is even worse.

I have to keep telling myself that the dumbest 10% of humans have used what intelligence they do have to become the most vocal.

I heard he has already said he would fill in until we find someone. Wonder how much damage he can do in a couple of months back at MSU?
He would screw up our football schudle for sure.

he should be on the list of people we look at, but if I actually did research on potential athletic directors he probably wouldn't be my first choice.

LT would probably come in and make a few handshake deals and then move our Thursday night Auburn game to Mobile.
