Lane Kiffin- he's a spoiled brat that has done ZERO as a head coach on the field. Sure, he and Orgeron can recuit, but actually game plan and sustain discipline, not so much. I love it that USC is for sure behind the 8ball now with the bowl ban and probation. Oh- he's making 4M a year. USC could have done so much better.
Jimbo Fischer- he will be a force to reckon with in the ACC. Bowden has been out of touch for some time and Jimbo will bring back the FSU of the 90s. Well, maybe not National Championship material, but much better than the last few years.
Brian Kelly- He's one of the best QB coaches out there. He will do well at ND, but I don't care what ND recruiting rankings have been, they have no speed, no defense. 8 wins this year will be a success.
Derek Dooley- He's not all that, but he's not a blabbling retard either. Its TN, they have players, will get players, and will win most of their football games. This year will be tough for them tough.
Tommy Tuberville- Texas Tech threw the world a curveball when they hired Tuberville. I mean, going from pirate nut and high scoring Leach, to a traditionally defensive minded coach was quite the shock. I do think he'll fit in pretty good there. I'll guarantee you this, he will beat somebody he's not supposed to this year. One thing Tubbs could do every year- pull off the upset and beat his rivals.
My vote for best new HC goes to: Jimbo Fischer, recruits well, develops QBs, and he's in the state of FL. He'll find 11 guys that can run fast and tackle.
