Lot of talk about Maroon 5 , I thought is was decent . Wouldnt say I liked it , wouldnt say it was awful .

So who is a large enough star to entertain America for 10 minutes ?

AC/DC
Van Halen
Kenny Chesney
Garth Brooks
M and M ( ha ha ) with guest appearance by Little Boi and Big Wayne ??

I'm throwing crap out there .. Obviously I'm an 80's kinda guy .

GrandePdre had the best idea I've seen to date...

"The NFL should just have Metallica perform Kill 'em All, Enter Sandman, Battery, Seek & Destroy, and Creeping Death with giant video boards showing the greatest, most cringe-worthy CTE-inducing hits NFL Films could possibly gather.

That's how you own your ****. And it would be awesome.

How about matching the entertainment to the teams playing ? Raiders get G N R . Rams get Katy Perry . 49ers get Boy George .

Foo Fighters is an obvious choice. "Classic rock" but still new enough to appeal to younger audiences. Frankly, though, I wonder why any already well-established rock act would want to do it. No matter how good they are, they will just be met with ridicule for being old, white, "dad rock", etc...

I agree with Guns n Roses & Florida Georgia Line but I would like to see one of the greatest singers ever who never gets the respect they deserve perform. That would be Bob Seger. Dude has so many classic hits. Also would like to see Chris Stapleton. Dude can flat out rock it when he wants to.

Do away with it.

Agreed. I'd just as soon they use the half to talk a little about the first half, then fill the rest with trade/free agent scuttlebutt and maybe the upcoming draft. Outside of watching the Midnight Special, Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, Austin City Limits, Ohne Filter, The Old Grey Whistle Test or somebody that I really liked on an episode of SNL, I'm really not interested in a 15 minute or so canned musical performance by someone that I probably wouldn't go somewhere to see in the first place. They could fill the stadium time with some sort of entertainment that most people in the stands wouldn't give a **** about anyway, and they could maybe sell more concessions in the process.

No one. A local marching band, more analysis during halftime and cut the duration to 20 minutes like a regular game.

Game drags with all the commercials anyway. Why make scheduled dead time even longer?

The whole bloated circus needs to be blown the FK up and either recreated or totally abandoned

Instead of bigger/flashier and even MORE industry sponsored charades.....

scale it all back and have a little league championship game of some kind
or what about overseas teams that are interested in US Football? - maybe a stripped down event for them?

or --- hell ---- cook Spaghetti while reading Kafka over the PA.......

Foo Fighters is the best idea, I agree.

Stapleton can belt, but he'd need to also rock that stadium. Can't sit there and strum through a bunch of love ballads for 12-15 minutes.

Seger is 70 (or close to it). Pretty old for that show? Not sure.

Speaking of old, Fleetwood Mac is touring and added Mike Campbell from the Heartbreakers and Neil Finn from Crowded House. That might be an idea.

Assemble a best-of group of musicians and singers from around the state of the SB host. This past SB halftime could have been pretty damn good using the talents of famous musicians from around the state of Georgia.

Man, you guys really want some washed up bands. We saw how The Who and Springsteen did. Let's keep it below 70 years old.

The obvious choices are Drake and Rihanna. Both have endless hits and have collaborated with the biggest names. They could bring out a ton of different people and keep it exciting.

My personal choice would be Outkast. Need to see them back together. Big Boi by himself is not enough.

If The White Stripes were still a band, that would be my other choice. Jack White can shred with the best of them so he could bring out whoever he wants.

Man, if only Freddie Mercury were still alive.

Hey jackass that’s why I said BEFORE the plane crash. I’m so trashy I’ll internet fight you over some
Skynyrd. It’ll get PBR and Mountain Dew in the trailerhood crazy in a minute.
