The reason Cincy is in is because there was apparently some arm twisting from the NCAA about teams playing in the CBI. Ohio State and FLA were both invited before selection Sunday as was Missouri and then declined. Alabama also declined the CBI. </p>

Its a new third postseason tournament with 16 teams. Requires $60,000 split from each home team for each home game and has a 3 game playoff for championship.

Edited to say that ESPN has some ownership of it and it is televised on FSN. How 'bout that?
