I've given this more thought than I should, but I'm pulling for UT. I HATE UT, but UT's fans are just the freaking worst. I think our hitting matches up with UT's pitching a little bit better than it does UT's....on the flipside, OUR pitching will be much more effective against UT than it will be against UT's. Both UT and UT are dangerous, talented ballclubs, but I just think we have a better chance of beating UT than we do UT.
Therefore, I'm pulling for UT.

Or maybe UT.

Crap....I just don't know.

Head says UTenn because I really don't want to face UTex again if it comes to it. Heart says UTex cause I'd really like to see UTenn go 0fer. So honestly, I don't know.

I want Tennessee gone. Their idiotic fans have come out of the woodwork, and I don't want another newbie (esp. an SEC newbie) winning the natty yet again before us.

And....if we do pull it off, I want to enjoy the bigly mad tears of them, Arkansas and Ole Miss about not having to go through them to get there.

My heart says I want Texas to loose but my head says I would rather face their bats than Tennessee's. (I think both of their pitching will be depleted if we meet them again.)

Nope, we'll see aces on Friday and for sure Saturday, guaranteed. Unless they use them on Thursday, which I doubt. THIS IS NOT LIKE A REGULAR REGIONAL. It's double the amount of time.

I agree. I think if they make it that far, Tennessee will use Dallas again this week or Texas will use Madden again this week.

ETA: Well, it came after a Tennessee batter walked, so maybe it was the wrong "UT" that got the warning.

Texas, it's a no brainer.

Texas wins with pitching, and might be thin on arms by their 4th or 5th game.

Tennessee is all about their offense, and that gets scarier the longer the tourney goes.

Yes, I know there's enough time in between for starting pitching to come back up, but who knows what shape all of the bullpen arms will be in.
