My son is a huge nerd, bless his heart. I've been taking him to this Lexington comic book convention for the past few years.

I've took him to a few others in Louisville and Knoxville, but they pale in comparison to this one in Lexington.

Last year's was unreal as far as the crowd.

I'm thinking this may turn into a ritual honoring Leonard Nimoy.

Lexington comic book convention.

My middle school son wants to go. I know nothing about them and he's asking me to take him.

I am. It's fun. Also they have more floor space this year so it may no R seem as crowded

I know the guy who runs it. He flat out works his butt off putting this thing on. Hope he has major success with this

If Kirkman was scheduled to be there they would be pimping him hard.

As nerd conventions in smaller cities go the Lexington one is a lot of fun. Plenty of fun if you go for the comic/sci-fi stuff. I would recommend that all you 40-year-old janitors pining for your glory days on the football team check it out too!

There is somebody out there right now with V.I.P. tickets and a hotel room dressing up as there favorite comic book character. I'm sure it's the same guy fighting the 12 yr olds for first in line for autographs and pictures.
