I can not say with any degree of accuracy whether this was deliberate or if it the result of an overeager teenager who manages the school's hudl account.

Since I am not in the business of prediction, I would ordinarily avoid the irresistible temptation to be as brash as I am choosing to be now, but Cary Grove is going to CLEAN DEKALB's CLOCK; and I was convinced of this outcome prior to seeing the link you posted.

Someone on another thread said to remember the name Cole Tucker. Batavia had a damn good receiver last year in Coffey and yet CG crushed them. I'm sure this Tucker kid is good but CG scores at will and anything DeKalb puts up will be doubled by CG.

They need to remember the names Bobby Collins, Ty Pennington, Ryan Magel and Kyle Pressley. I have no doubt CG is not looking ahead to the next week and will be fully prepared for Dekalb's offensive scheme. Dekalb has some athletes, no doubt, and while CG's defense is undersized, they are as fast as lightning, create turnovers, get to the quarterback, swarm to the ball, etc. Looking forward to the game.

My guess is they are already collecting film on Prairie Ridge and made a game slot for them on their hudl.

I agree, happens quite often. No need to feel slighted, overlooked, or disrespected.

Any one that is familiar with hudl would know that's not a sign of disrespect. It's gathering film for a future opponent. Don't know what films dekalb asked for but odds are if they asked for the c-g/p-r film they created a slot for p-r as well. If there's any team in the quarters right now that doesn't have slots for potential semi opponents I would be surprised. No need to get worked up over this.

Bingo. You need to put film in a folder so why not put the team you're getting film on. Naz would just make the folders Round 1 Round 2 etc. Now I have 22 useless game films.

Cary overlooked DeKalb...

Shame would have been a good rematch. Does Dekalb have a hudl folder for STL or SHG?

Cary didn't overlook Dekalb and yes it would of been a good rematch with PR. No Dekalb hasn't scheduled a future game. Maybe they should.

No wonder you're not in the business of predicting games! Ouch!

IMO DeKalb was the most balanced team we - Carmel Catholic - played.

Good defense. Very good QB. Explosive players.

A team very capable of making big plays when needed.

I have a ton of respect for Cary-Grove and have followed them for YEARS, but I knew they'd have their hands full with the Barbs.

Why so bitter?

If they didn't look past them, you obviously over estimated how good your Cary team was this year:
Cary Grove is going to CLEAN DEKALB's CLOCK....

You also were always quick to point out how Cary received no respect all year, yet you gave coach Weckler and the Barbs no respect all leading up to the game last week.

But then again, your upset call last week was....brutal.

Wasn't it a CG supporter that was claiming to be the best in all classes and that no one has seen the triple option like theirs? I believe I told that person to respect all opponents in the playoffs because you never know what can happen. Most likely a lesson learned in this case.

I don't care how good a team is, playoffs brings about a different kind of play. Teams that you would probably dominate in the regular season are not so easy to dominate.

Definitely not the best class and you misunderstood what I said. never once did I say this was their best team, this team isn't even close as good as the 2012 and 2014 state teams. I said teams tend to struggle against the option. Cary had upset severso of teams since 2004 with the triple option. good luck to dekalb

My bad, that was MWhitman. But you did make this thread thinking DeKalb disrespected Cary because of a PR HUDL folder.

Year in, year out Cary is a top team. This year, they were not as good apparently as the Cary faithful thought. Looking at how well Jacobs did and the teams left in 7A, Cary may have been better off in 7A this year. You lose alot of seniors this year and a heavy burden falls on skool to take over for Pennington.

Team was good this year and always difficult to compare to prior teams. They made some uncharacteristic mistakes but give DeKalb credit as they are a very good team and getting behind two TDs to a good team when you run the TO makes it tough. They go down and score on their second drive and maybe it is a different outcome, who knows? Doesn't make CG a lesser team; they just didn't play their best game when they needed to and now they get to watch the rest of the playoffs instead of participating in them.
