Who's the greatest athlete to come from each local high school?
How do you compare a swimmer with a budding professional career to an NBA veteran to a major leaguer from a bygone era? How do you rate new vs. old,

At Stafford, for all around I think I would have to go with Skeeter Jackson (circa '75-79). I'm drawing a blank on his real first name but he was an all-district/region wide receiver, basketball player, and track performer (State Long Jump champion). Later placed 4th at the US Olympic trials for the Triple Jump and was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles as an outfielder.

Others - recently have had Torrey Smith, NFL Wide Receiver (QB at Stafford), won Super Bowls with Ravens and Eagles; Dexter McDougle, NFL Cornerback with Jets/Eagles. Not so recent, Ronnie Perry was a forward who played in the ABA in the 60's. Jeff Rouse won several Olympic Gold and Silver medals in swimming ('92 and '96) and was an NCAA swimming champion at Stanford; Mark Lenzi won Olympic Diving Gold and Bronze Medals in '92 and '96).

Very recent I believe Jenna Chang won the State Gymnastics title - probably the best athlete of them all!

I coached against Dexter McDougle his senior year. TOTAL FREAK!!! I think he scored on us 4 different ways - no lie. Run, Catch, return, interception return. I guess he was a late bloomer in high school but he was extremely dynamic.
