As a ref, how do you make that call with the crowd rushing the field. I understand the rule, but thats just being a prick. There was no need to make that call there because Utah had no way stopping it, and the crowd didn't effect the outcome of the play.

The BYU guy had the ball and tried to reverse field but 10,000 fans were covering the other side. 1 in 1000 chance he scores but still. Right call.

Why are they so bound and determined to rush the field anyway????

I know its their rival, but Utah has won the last 3 (if I heard correctly) and BYU is ranked #25, not #1. I just don't see why the fans so desperately needed to be on the field.
