Stop acting like WVU is dead last in program value. Listening to this is nonsense. It wasn’t long ago the Big 12 picked WVU over Louisville in the expansion process. And yet, some of you act like we are the Kent State Golden Flashes trying to compete in the P4.

I agree, but damn….Kent Sate would give us a game right now. They wouldn’t beat us, but we wouldn’t be blowing them out either and that’s sad considering the difference in resources for those two programs.
We need to dominate in the big 12 if we’re going to have any hopes of staying at the big boy table
It's called reality..you should look into it.. for a school that just cut programs and fired employees....the hat and T-shirt fans want to want to spend money that's not there like a teenager with mom's credit card.

The athletic budget is independent of the academic budget. Also, between 1/3 to half the programs at WVU and every other major university needs to be cut because they are worthless regardless of budgetary constraints. Investing in useless majors does not have ROI. Investing in the athletic program's revenue sports does have an ROI.
Thank goodness you don’t make the decisions at WVU. Otherwise, you’d have us moving down to the D2 level with Neal Brown and playing Fairmont State.
It's pretty clear that you don't really understand how things work and even if you did, that kind of attitude would get us kicked out of the Big 12.
lol..I know how to read a financial statement...BTW WVU makes zero profit on game programs, novelties, food/concessions, and parking..so quit saying they make money on it...why?..it's more than offset by the gameday expenditures..officals, security, event staff, medical, ambulance....if you can read an annual spread sheet you could look it up.
If what you say is true, that sounds like a marketing, merchandising, and concessions problem. Also sounds like we need a complete shakeup and people in charge of these things replaced.
None of this cancels the fact that WVU has a really expensive game day experience and deserve a good coach for it. You can spreadsheet all you want, and it doesn't matter.
Things have gotten much worst since then. Walk through the campus on Monday in another week.
hey..you can go to a WVIAC school for $8,000 or less per yr..or WVU for 24,000..that's instate..average out of state 41,000...it's going to implode
Colleges and Universities need to downsize nationally. Too many worthless degrees offered. A lot of the crap could be delivered at a junior college or online. A lot also won’t translate into a decent paying career either. If you’re gonna pay that kind of money, you better major in something that’s gonna pay a good wage.
