why are people concerned about Mullen recruiting another QB?

Just curious, but what leads you to say that any of these posters doesn't know much about sports? The fact that they are posting things you don't like, or the fact that they won't come out and reveal the name of their sources? And what exactly does that have to do with knowing about sports?

and they make it obvious. I have had this conversation with several people. Nafoom is good for a laugh every once in a while but other than that it is just a wannabe sixpack.

It's yummy and cheesy good.

[Since we're apparently responding with comments that have nothing to do with the previous post]

i swear by the Russell story that i posted in another thread. The MHS assistant coach that I was casually talking to about this has never lied to me, and I've known him for close to 25 years. And if you're so gullible as to believe what Gene S. says is the gospel, then apparently you haven't followed MSU sports closely for very long.

yeah, it went so well Patterson eliminated MSU from his finalists the next day
Msu hasn't been on Pattersons radar since he decommitted. Apparently, something happened while Croom was still here. Now, I know communication had picked back up while Croom was here, but you don't go from being committed to not giving the school you committed to the time of day over night without something going on. I'm also not inferring anything illegal or underhanded either. Just something happened. When Mullen was hired, it seemed to peak Pattersons interest, but apparently, the in home didn't go great, because he hasn't mentioned State in any interviews he has done since Mullens in home visit. Now, I know Gene's ******** makes some of you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, when he said the in home went great, but it is ********. If it went so great, then they would have posted an interview with Pat. They didn't, so it wasn't a great in home. Pat will not be at Msu, so it really doesn't matter what happened at Pat's house, because basically, it boils down to Msu was too far behind to make up while Croom and Co. were here recruiting him.

Other than the fact that these two boards share a lot of the same visitors, I don't see the similarities. Nafoom is an Ole Miss sports board where discussion topics range from sports (both Ole Miss and non-Ole Miss) to gambling, cooking, movies, music, and just about anything else entertaining. There are often more non-sports topics than sports topics on the board. SixPack sticks primarily to MSU sports and rarely veers from sports topics in any fashion, which is part of the reason I visit here. I prefer to discuss sports, and sometimes the sports topics are limited on Nafoom.

but now that people are just pulling group shots from facebook it has gotten old fast.

Talk to Coach34 about manlust, not me. Better yet middle school lust. What a sociopath.

I think a handful of posters at Nafoom ( including you uscreb ) do provide some interesting insight but I guess yall can't help the fact that majority of posters are on a 10th grade reading / writing / thinking level.

Coming from the guy who in the preseason said: Colt McCoy was a not so spectacular QB & is not an elite college QB, Snead will never be All SEC, Nutt won't get us to 6-8 wins in his first season, MSU will go 8-4 (5-3), OM will go 3-9 (1-7), that OM fans must be smoking crack if they thought 8 wins was possible, and that Nutt won't get us to a bowl this year.

Look at the thread below jock chaser and ask yourself if you are really the college football savant that you think you are. You sure spouted off a bunch of **** and then said you'd be the first to hold yourself accountable if wrong. Just look at all the **** talking you did. You actually got something right...You said we'd be home in December instead of bowling. In a way you were right. We aren't going to some ****** bowl like the Liberty in December, we'll be playing in January.

You are probably better at math than me also.

But then again....I don't have a great job that requires making change for the customers on a pizza route. I'm sure that helps keep your math skills sharp.

One of my buddies worked with you at your glorious fast food job in the late 90's.

Does that make me an insider?

I'm thinking "Doughboy" would be a more appropriate moniker instead of "General" for an overweight pizza joint employee.

If you look at the HS elite-11 quarterbacks on year-to-year basis is clear that no high school kid is a sure thing. For every NFL pick there are 2 sad stories. More often than not, the kid never takes the field more than a few times. I would not kiss the *** of any HS kid, especially one that is not even an elite-11.

Miami had two elite-11 QB's last year, they finished dead last in passing in the ACC.

Bonedaddy is worse at predictions than CB9 and right about as often as leap year.

He then tries to get on me for doing my job...yet he is the biggest jock sniffer on any campus of the SEC.

I bet you blew Norwood after he set the rushing record aGAINST Houston didnt you?

Typical Reb, making fun of people who work for a living. Rebel-fan makes it sound like you're a bunch of Kennedy's, who only have to live until they're 21 and WHOOOPEE! you get an inheritance from Pepaw, who probably stole his money from some poor black sharecroppers who were working the land (if you want stereotypes, we'll give you stereotypes).

Judging from the recent spate of DUI deaths, frathouses burning down, and idiots falling out of trees, living to 21 can be a major accomplishment at OM.

Who does bonedaddy have to blame for his mistakes and missteps? Does he have a message board OL that works like a sieve?

Shouldn't you be giving some middle school kid a reach around right about now.

You can do whatever you want with your life but I would suggest stepping away from the computer one day........going outside........find a person, any person........and initiate a conversation. This include both of you talking. Oh yea and this person has to be older than 18......and you can't introduce yourself by your Internet screen name.

I can't wait until I meet you in real life, probably this spring, so that I can see if you have developed the simple skill of conversation. Believe me I will let you know what a douche bag you are then also.

is pretty funny. If we were going to do that, I would forever be the hated person that made you wear your goggles while playing racquetball or kick you off the basketball courts so the badminton games could begin at the Sanderson Center.

I hated telling you as much as you hated hearing it. The worst was setting up the badminton. I feared for my safety a few times.

Sounds like running this message board was quite a step back for you. Career suicide, if you will.

I'm sure your parents are ashamed.
