Why are the Catholics not outraged at Huggins comments?

Isn't this more of a derogatory comment about the Catholic Church than it is the gay community?

Can really see who the sensitive cancel culture is now.

Nobody outside of a few idiots gets outraged over any of it. The outrage is typically manufactured. Translation: The msm doesn’t give a ****, as the Catholics aren’t apart of the racism scam they force onto us.

They have WAY too much going on within their own organization to worry about what one drunken basketball coach has to say.

Probably because anyone can tell it was an off the cuff slang remark meant to be hyperbole that didn’t land well. It’s not as if he was ranting and raving about his actual thoughts on homosexuality. Also Huggins is small potatoes in the national landscape, you’re not going to see CNN and co do a full court press to get him ousted.

Most of the outrage over all this type of stuff doesn't come from those that the remark is actually referring to.

The only people who are concerned about any of it are the Bolshevik idiots who think their job is to police our speech and the squishes who think we need to keep the Bolsheviks happy, which is an impossible job.

To answer the OP's question, I think there are several reasons:

1) Very few people are truly religious anymore. Therefore, there isn't anyone to get offended.
2) The Catholics actually thought it was funny and didn't take it seriously.
3) Nobody knew, from the antics of Xavier's fanbase, they were a Catholic University. Even Xavier students are asking each other today, "We're Catholic?"
4) Nobody knows nor cares about Xavier University? These were the people too dumb to get into Cincinnati and that's saying something?
5) West Virginia's one cross dressing student was so offended they (gotta use the proper terminology) actually went into the bathroom of their biological sex today in protest.
