Calling for our coach's head bc we can't score on the number 1 defense in the country who gives up less than 7 pts a game? Or is it his fault that our left tackle and kickers have 17d up? When he moves on and we hire Croom II, I hope you're all on here posting how happy you are.

what the 17 was he thinking when he took Russell out and put in Relf with so much momentum? If you're wanting to play Relf, then why not go with him at Bama's 17ing 4 yard line? Why is his special teams complete garbage, does he not personally coach this aspect of the team himself?

I think we have a shot.

Mullen definitely learned that the double QB strategy isn't going to work. I like a lot of people on here was screaming at the QB change when Russell had completed 5 in a row. Had Relf made the TD, we would all be saying that the duel QB attack is a good one. Mullen isn't too proud to adjust mid game and I can promise you, sending in Relf on the redzone plays is ending.

Relf looks terrible running the ball also and his passes are horrible. We will adjust and come back ready for the 2nd half.

Great job D except for the pathetic penalties.

Hail State!!!!

Not one season after 9-4. Were still poised for a bowl. Let's face it, we r not as good as we thought. Our offensive line is not good. so we go to the liberty bowl, I'm not turning that quick because I'm not stupid. This will be two bowls in his first 3 years, and we will be set up to make it 3 in a row next year. Do you know how many times in our history we've gone to 3 bowls in a row? Or even two? Don't worry, I'll give you time to google it.

Petrino coached a perrenial loser in Louisville and turned them into a consistent Bowl attendee. He has been at Arkansas for 4 years, yes, but a head coach for many years and coaching in essentially a ONE School State. Mullen is only in his 3rd year as a head coach, coaching at historically one of the 4 worst programs in the SEC, and also coaching in a State relative in size to Arkansas with 2 schools almost the same size in enrollment. Mississippi historically has more talent than the state of Arkansas, but Arkansas pretty much gets the BEST that state has and recruits Oklahoma and Texas very well. Petrino gets great O-linemen and top notch QBs, to throw to BIG receivers and he just outscores teams.

Until we can get Mississippi High Schools to throw the ball more so that Offensive Linemen can get better in the passing game at the High School level, we are going to have to recruit O-linemen from running teams and take 3 years to get a balance. We have no depth and not much talent on our O-line so we cannot do much against the LSU's, USC-East, and Alabama's who trot out 4 and 5 star defensive players.
