I mean is it that hard every other school in the southeast does it with repeat success. We have never had one to be on time and why we keep having helicopters God only knows.

Everything we touch turns to ****

do you pay attention I am complaining because they are always late. SEE VIDEO

Every other sport in America that has a flyover comes right after the national anthem.

I agree 110%

I would rather not make over until the end of the first quarter then to fly by in that garbage

Earlier this season, North Carolina was going to have a group of skydivers deliver the game ball to the officials. One slight problem. The skydivers jumped into DUKE'S stadium during their pregame warmups. Compared to that, being a minute late on a flyover seems pretty insignificant.

I greatly enjoyed the flyovers we have had this year. Regardless of the timing. As long as they dont burst our eardrums are crash into the stadium it seems to pretty damn entertaining.

and undefeated SEC team and the guy who took the video was literally squeezing in his seat amongst the 10s of fans in the upper deck. the first few seconds and the beginning and the last few at the end are horrible.

thanks Sly!

1) The helicopters that flew over the Vandy game are the new generation of Army utility helicopter. They are being built at the Golden Triangle Airport. That production facility is a huge deal for the GTR. Also the first 2 were given to the Tupelo ANG unit. So what you have probably just seen is the very first fly over, in the country, of the next generation of Army utility helicopter.

Check out the website:
www.uh-72a.com

2) I don't know why the fly-overs are always late, but it is usually the Army and Air Force. As a USMC veteran I always bragged that a Navy / Marine Corps pilot would never blow a fly-over. Well at least they made it down the middle of the stadium. So much for on time.

3) With Arkansas being Senior Day, that makes Kentucky the "Salute to Veterans." Get ready to ***** again because I am pretty sure there is another fly-over this weekend.

4) Man, we have had a bunch of fly-overs this year!

shittiness of the crowd. Seriously, that was the f'n Vandy game? There couldn't have been more than 35,000 total asses in seats.

Well, other than the fact I hate flyovers altogether... Oooh! It's a plane! Never seen one of them fancy contraptions before!

I didn't get to yell "Another T!" during the State spell out. That's the only freaking part of our pregame show that I like.

Military planes have a "time on target" function that programs the aircraft to be at a particular point at a particular time. It is dummy proof. Unless the people on the ground, that would be us, aren't on cue at preplanned time.

"shittiness of the crowd."

You probably know this......but....You have a program that is a historical loser. In one of the most rural areas, of one of the smallest states in the nation. A majority of the population that lives in the immediate area (20 mile radius) could not care less about MSU football. The majority of your alumni live over 2 hours a way. So, you get those type of crowds.

MSU is in almost an impossible situation as far as garnering fans and monetary support.

I understand this with fighter jets, but I am not sure our Sopwith Camel is properly equipped with this.

There was a good flyover at the Auburn game and they timed it right as the National Anthem was finishing. It was the one with 3 jets (T-38s) from Columbus AFB. The last game I was at was the Vandy game, which was helicopters. They were cool but not as good as jets...
