And agree with me or not, but TE coach is a place Rhule can hide Sat. Never in his career has a Rhule offense really been very TE heavy.

I said this before I know but go back to when Rhule was hired in CAR, Greg Olsen fled.

Nate fled Lincoln last year for college station. Thomas might have been the most I’ve seen a Rhule’s offense focus on a TE

Hell look at this year, Luke started out looking like he’d have a monster year and just disappeared for the most part.

And please before the Rhule heavy supporters get too butt-hurt please know some coaches are just that way. Some coaches think a TE’s hand needs to be in the dirt

Do people think he was a problem? Or we are just lashing out for his performance as OC?

Because he never was intended to be the OC. He stepped in only AFTER Rhule struck out on his first choice. He was always intended to be the TE coach which is where he's at now.
For triple the salary of a normal TE coach...and has never signed a recruit at any position....

I can think of a 1st team Big12 offensive player, who told me that he specifically didnt come here BEFORE Satts first season, because the family was so unimpressed with the guy just from a "help my kid be successful on and off the field" standpoint. Basically they thought the dude was a dud.....

Not to mention, if you listen to any interview, the guy has about as much charisma as white bread....

And he doesnt recruit. Hasn't signed a guy his entire time here....

And hes so "bought in" and invested in NU, that I dont even think his family lives here....

Other than that and his abysmal run as OC, hes a great addition to the staff
