Why did Slive attend our game?**

OK this much isn't half serious, its totally serious - there is only room for a few at the top of the SEC. Some schools are to "know their place".
On with the <span style="font-weight: bold;">half serious</span> theory....Slive sees that Auburn is going down in flames. Coincidentally, some other powerhouses fell on mediocrity this year. Also coincidentally - in spite of the SEC's bias against the Mississippi States of the conference, we've managed to put the program in a good position. More importantly the rest of the nation, in large part thanks to ESPN, has bought in wholeheartedly to our "on the rise" status. Slive might be about to remove MSU from SEC basement status and all the unwritten policies and consequences therein. If we're allowed to flourish with impunity, somebody else has to go back to the basement and that may as well be Auburn once the FBI and the NCAA bring the pain to their program.
