He didn't come up with an idea that's been done, what, once? So he's in over his head. Got it.

This same type of idea has been mentioned here before. Most recently after the Toomers trees.

Hell NO!

It's the honor of buying sacred grass.

But I'm not aware of a turf sale going on at Scott Field.

Right now anyway!

At $400 per 450sqfeet how much would MSU generate by selling an entire football field of grass?

only $51,200

$60,000 + or -

basically an easy way to pay for most of the new sod if not all if home home grown.

Seriously?.....

Or Dudy Noble? Once again Scotty boy is in over his head. http://m.aggieathletics.com/all/article/209280749

The AD hasn't sold grass and that means he's 'over his head'? Its just grass BTW. And its not like it has been down that long as most fields are re-sodded every 5 years or so or that anything that special has happened on it.

An acquaintance of mine has the contract to haul away the sod off of Turner field when they re-sod every few years. It is taken out and replaced to a thickness of 4 inches so there is a lot of topsoil with it. He piles it uo, allows the grass to die and sells the top soil to landscapers.

No doubt. Stricklin not selling our grass is clear proof he is in over his head

Along with damn near every other AD in the country

Mississippi ain't California or Colorado. Do you really dislike him so much that you want to see him jailed? You know he would lose his job if he got caught selling grass. Man...

I know every dollar counts but a lost chance at $60k in revenues make Stricklin in over his head when the expenditures of the AD were $51.58 million in 2011 (easiest recent year I could find because of an article online)?

This HAS been done for Scott Field......during Charlie Shira era. I purchased a square yard....had a certificate showing my ownership.
