Why do I dislike David Murray so much?

I didn't mention it, but last weekend I caught a little bit of some MSU radio show with him. He was asked if there was a reason Cohen had often gone with an all lefty starting rotation some weekends. Murray responded that he thought it might be a strategic move since the SEC is such a dominant right handed hitting league.
First, I have no clue if that's true or not, but it showed that Murray obviously had no clue that the ideal match up for a pitcher is lefty vs. lefty or righty vs. righty. Basic baseball knowledge, and he made an F.

Anyone can see that the reason for an LH pitching rotation at State is only because that's the best we've got.
but he has moved more in the smart a$$ direction the last couple of years. I haven't been on Gene's site since the first of the year. And I have not missed any of it at all.
Have any of you ever actually met David Murray? He's waaaaay more of a douche in person.

You can tell the guy never played them. GP does get out played most of the time, but for some reason those guys that subscribe to him don't care. They will spin everything like they knew it, but most of the time its one of their subscribers that lets them know what's going on. You have to admire those guys, they have a market and they keep their people happy with a positive spin. They are business people more than they are sports analyst and that seems to work. I don't know how, but it does. Robertson seems to have a better grasp on sports. He seems to know more about who is good and who isn't. David seems to be a want a be.
he reminds me of a 44 yr old friend of mine from Flowood that has never done the deed with a woman, never had a steady girlfriend, lives alone with no pets even. I just have a really hard time wondering how a man can go through life without ever experiencing being intimate with a woman. He got mad as a hornet onetime when I asked him if he were gay. He hangs out with guys from bible study. They will do their bible study and then head to Shuckers for the rest of the night and watch all the heterosexual men in the bar dancing and mingling with females and never leave their stools until they have to go to the pisser. My wife & I have concluded that our friend is " asexual " -- meaning, no interest in either sex, or any kind of sex period! David Murray is the same way I suppose. It would be different if he was covering Oklahoma sports or something, but to give up any type of relationship to cover MSU sports is perplexing! Also, when he could be out trying to get some during the summer downtime, he goes back to his family farm in Laurel to hang out with his parents. Asexual I tell you!

I know about your pitching troubles, and when he said that, I was thinking to myself that most likely the reason for throwing 3 lefties on a weekend is because they are probably your best 3 options, or at least 3 of your best options, not some righty-lefty or lefty-lefty strategic match up. I just found it funny that he misunderstood the basic righty-righty/lefty-lefty baseball strategy.
