People that end all their sentences with a ? mark.

Simple example...
The leaves on the tree are green?

Is that a statement or are you asking me if the leaves are green?

What age range are you talking about? I think people in their 20s use "like" a lot more in general than older generations. It's kind of like hot when young tarts say it.

Me and a friend used to watch the NBA draft and count the "you know's" in their interviews. I think Allen Houston got in like 20 of them in his.I was like impressed. You know.

I'm actually amazed at how much better modern athletes post game interviews are now than they were 30 years ago. I guess they just work on it more now, you know.

What age group are the “snow flakes”? That is the generation that will let the world blow up, I am just glad I wont be alive to see our country given away to communism.

We gotta guy here at work that say "take, or took and/or take & do" 2- 3 times in every sentence. He aint no millennial either.

"Here's what you need to take & do...." "You need to take and take that over to the ....." "He took and took it with him when he left"

He works in the Shipping dept...he left directions to the plant on voice mail for the trucker drivers. He had to delete it and somebody else had to do it...

"Once you take and get in town, take and take a left on Lincoln then take and go across the railroad tracks, then take a left. Then take and go straight........and on & on & on"

All age groups, and neither the left, nor the right has a monopoly on them.

THe remaining 30%, on whom the fate of humanity rests, somehow figured out how to make the golden age of humanity work for them.

Millennials, previous studies suggest, have fewer responsibilities than their older counterparts. They are more likely to rent than own property and, unlike their parents and older siblings, are less likely to have kids. They spend more than an average of $2,300 per year than older generations on five key items: groceries, gas, restaurants, coffee and cell phone bills, according to personal-finance site Bankrate. And they spend $233 per month on meals versus $182 for older generations.

They also have bigger problems. They shoulder more student-loan debt than any other generation and face house prices that are far higher than their parents did at their age in a post-recession environment of stagnant wages. Student-loan debt has reached $1.3 trillion as the cost of college has soared. And spending no more than 30% of their income on rent or a mortgage, a golden rule for decades, is now almost impossible for many young Americans.

How about no? How about you go to Craigslist and search room for rent? How about you figure out how not to spend that 2.3k per year? How about you stop being little whiny bitches?

I knew a fellow once that ended most of his sentences in: "....and everything".

I.E. Paw went to town for twine, and everything. Ernest T threw rocks, and everything.

Like, what is the deal with that?
My oldest brother, who l love dearly and is 86, is an "and everything, too" guy...my wife and l just crack up about it.

What? 70% of millennials support socialism over capitalism and would vote for a socialist candidate. 36% actually support communism. Google it.

This is not baseless ********. Leading current democrat presidential candidates are now far left socialists.

[laughing] WTF? Did you mean to quote someone else? My definition of a snowflake is someone that has their apple cart easily tipped over by people with differing opinions in subjects ranging from sports to music to movies/television to (especially) religious and political ********. I used to just call them nut jobs, but I like snowflake better. And yes, no age group, political or religious group has a monopoly on them.

I understood the message to which you replied to have a deeper meaning than thoughts on your personal definition of snowflake. It was on point with the topic of the thread and accurate in assessing current millennial socialist/communist leanings, which, I might add, is inherent in the original definition of snowflake.

I just call people who are easily triggered (regardless of subject matter) snowflakes. The term is kinder and gentler than the nut jobs I used to call them.

First, I'm a millenial and again hope to remind you that millennials did most of the fighting and dying in the war on terror.

Having said that, if you go back and watch interviews from 20 -30 years ago, and I mean random everyday people, you'd be astonished how eloquent they sound compared to us today. No " uh's or likes"
Ever.

Someone saying like so many times in a sentence definitely started in the 80s with Valley girls. It drives me nuts too, but I get the image of a blonde with the big hair, shoulder pads, chewing her gum real loud, and shopping with her friends at the brand new mall.
