Why do you think...

...no alumni from any of the other schools that recruited Cam have come forward? Why do you think MSU is the only school blowing this whistle? Could it be that this is an MSU investigation? There sure is a lot of smoke around MSU alumni.

an auburn fan would come over here posting hypothetical questions unless he was worried and looking for answers?

to make a public statement doesn't mean that others haven't given their story to the NCAA.

who was about to come through the phone at Brando about Brando saying there must be a "2nd source" for the NY Times and ESPN to run with the story. These people are absolutely losing it.

I'm just trying to pose some questions that none of you want to consider. You're so bitter that you begin to throw rocks without realizing that as of now all the evidence points to two dirty MSU aulumi. As everyone is beginning to realize, this is an MSU issue and has nothing to do with Auburn.

You dumb ***, Bond is more credible than anyone that has came out and spoke on Auburn's side. You need to comprehend when you read. This is a Newton/auburn story.

Where in Bond's statement did he say Auburn paid for Cam Newton? But thanks anyway for trying to educate us with some of your deep, philosophical thoughts on the situation. We're truly better off for having heard them.

this is a MSU story.

Newton camp tells MSU $180K for Cam to play

MSU tells SEC

SEC tells NCAA

end of story with MSU.

Now the fact that Newton was soliciting money and he happens to play for Auburn (by Cecil) instead of MSU (whereCam point blank said he wanted to go), well, that's between the NCAA and Auburn. Enjoy your 14-0 season*, national championship* and Heisman Trophy winner*

Da debil be messin

Yep, this is a MSU issue. Has nothing to do with the barn. Absolutely nothing. I know this because I read Jacob's quotes that make it clear that this has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the barn.

And according to your mensa quarterback, the debil is to blame for messin.

Congratulations on figuring out how to reply, dubmass.

Here are some questions for you though -- Why was Cecil admittedly associating withRogers, a known scumbag runner/ agent, since Cam left Florida? Why was Rogers with Cecil during their offical visit to MSU? Why did Cecil introduce Rogers to Mullen?

So far the evidence points to one dirty MSU alumni, who by most accounts, has had very little (if anything)to do with State in the last 15-20+ years. It also points to another alum who did the right thing by reporting the incident to the MSU athletic director.

And this issue has nothing really to do with Mississippi State other than us first reporting it to the SEC office. The best analogy I can pass on to you is that just because a hooker or pimp propositions you on the street doesn't mean you've done anything wrong. You only do something wrong when you pay the hooker or pimp for services rendered. And right now, it apparently and allegedly looks like Auburn is in bed with the hooker/pimp.

Think about what you are asking.. If you were an alumni that was dirty or in the know of NCAA violations for your school why would you come forward and say something. I wish this had not come out at all. It is crap for the SEC, MSU alumni don't like it, Tenn Alumni don't like it, and the honest Tiger base doesn't like it. Not to mention whats going on at Gator and Bama land. My take is a little different if some of this is true how about the rest of the high recruits? Look at NC and their program. Hell, half the team was suspended...

Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.

Or, he might also say:

Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

So taking that path, let me quote you one more source:

http://msn.foxsports.com/collegefootball/story/dont-vote-for-auburns-cameron-newton-for-heisman-trophy-110410

But there’s precedent of wrongdoing at Auburn. It’s as much a part of the university’s culture as a Bo Jackson stiff-arm or the toilet-paper tradition known as rolling Toomer’s Corner.

The Tigers have had seven major NCAA violations, which included players being paid under former coach Pat Dye, who resigned in 1992. But that doesn’t include other issues such as former players receiving high grades in sociology classes that required little work and no attendance.

So take your cheatin' *** back to the bunker.
