Dan's the equipment manager along with ST coach. He is responsible for cleats.

Announcers said Rice was having trouble too in warm ups. Maybe the paint on the field made it slick.

Both teams are having trouble. They seem to not only be slipping at times, but also getting their cleats tied up in the turf. Pretty crappy field. As the guy just said, it's all matted down.

Maybe this explains why Memphis (the school, their football team) is ******, they've got a slippery field. Ain't nobody good on a slippery field.

I like what Perkins can so as an athlete but I'm so glad that this is the last day of perk up the middle 15 times a game. I wish we'd have used him correctly this year. How did he get 1k yards last year?

A lot easier to give a 3rd down back the ball up the middle 15 when you're under center and a team has to account for you hitting a receiver for 15+ every play (Tyler). Look at Forte in the NFL.

He's just not a spread option every down back. He'll be able to pick what NFL camp he wants to go to in May because most of them will be calling, but we didn't do him any favors his senior year. Oh well. Only difference in being drafted in the 4th on and being a UFA is UFA's get to pick their team. Same $$$$.

I know what you're saying but Forte has good vision and can break tackles. That's something that Perk doesn't have and can't do. Him and Robinson can run the same play, get the same blocking and Robinson will get 5+ while Perk has no gain.

Think espn has LDP as #16 RB going into draft

Obviously it's because he can catch coming out of back field and get YAC...JR hasn't demonstrated that yet. Other than running skills Theres no comparison in LDP & JR at this point. I really like JR's north/south running style. Hope he gets more opportunities in the passing game.
