Why don't we go try to find a QB in Texas?

It seems to me that a ton of good and great QB's come from the state of Texas, like Chase Daniel-whom I don't think was highly recruited. I know we don't seem to recruit Texas much in general(correct me if I'm wrong because I don't follow recruiting very heavily), but my question is, why?

Yes, I forgot about him, from Spring, TX. He kinda sucked though, but one would've thought that just bc he didn't work out wouldnt mean that we would stop trying to keep signing 5'8" juco-caliber QB's from FL,and AL...but York was recruited by Sherrill who had a little more football sense than did his successor.
