Why don't we have better walk-ons than Baxer Price?

I was looking at our depleted 8 man roster that we are taking to Hawaii to get prison showered by North Carolina, and I read the bio's on our walkons Baxter Price and Tyson Cunningham. Cunningham played at Columbus a 6A school and averaged 11PPG, im guessing he didnt get any JUCO or small school offers out of HS he IMO is servacable.

However, I read the Bio on 5'9" 160lb walkon Baxter Price. He averaged a whopping 6 points per game in 7 games that he played at Northwest Rankin HS. They had listed his top game was a game of 5 points and 7 assists.

My question is why can't we find/get better walkons? Ray had an open tryout, is it possible that NOBODY that tried out is as good as or better than Baxter Price or Tyson Cunningham?

We have had solid walkons in the past, Whit Hughes comes to my mind, as well as Guy Gardner in the early 2000s. With as depleted of a roster as we have is it possible that coach Ray could have another Try out or look to our football team after their season is over to get 1 or 2 servacable players so that we can scrimmage at practice.

Been talking about this a lot with friends the past couple of days. What happened at the open tryout?

Surely you could find 3 or 4 Sanderson ballers to come in and at least be used for practice bodies.

Baxter Price's family is good friends w/ Stans' family - they were actually neighbors at some point, in the neighborhood beside sherwood forrest (not sherwood commons, other side). Baxter grew up in Starkville and moved in 6th or 7th grade or something like that. I guess Ray didn't want to get rid of him for some reason.

Same story as Iupe. Baxter Price and Joseph Iupe couldnt play at Belhaven.

$$$$ donations from the family.

No clue why none of the Sanderson ballers have been added.

Leave Baxter alone.

Baxter is one of those guys that will pay "dividends" for years to come. He's a walk-on, leave him be. If you guys expect to win with Sanderson players then you are crazy. How many of them loan you a private jet to go pick up your new baseball coach?

After 8 months on campus Ray has added ZERO walk-ons. Before he steps foot in another gym to recruit future players it should be demanded of him to add atleast 4 walk-ons for this season.
