He has not had a major impact since the Auburn game. Did he even play against UTM? I'd love to have him and Jameon be significant factors against BAMA!!

Even without them we have a bunch of weapons. The Freds, the Johnson's, Morrow, Myles, Hill, etc... HAIL STATE!!!!!!!!

We threw to him 3 times yesterday but couldn't seem to connect. Instead of him getting off to fast starts like he was able to do against LSU, TAMU, and AU he is going to have to wait until later in the game when the defense has to adjust to cover our other receivers.

I think he'll be extra motivated for Bama when we need him. He has been unstoppable against teams with a higher level of competition.

What's the story with tubby? Making sure he's 100% for bama?

they double teamed him yesterday and there was no need to force anything to him to move the ball. Plus he didn't see a whole lot of playing time with the next big game looming.

i figured we would see that post pattern to him that we scored first with in each of our first three games.

I don't think he stayed in the game after about the 4th or 5th drive. My guess is that yes, he has dropped some passes the last couple of weeks but I also think Mullen had been hiding him some for the Bama game. I think he's been hiding Jameon as well. I could be wrong though.

That's nothing uncommon with a lot of injured players. Even if they can play, coaches will much rather exercise sitting them out of inconsequential games. If he doesn't play in Bama, then that's the time I'd start worrying about his health.

The plan all week was to give Tubby the weekend off, he's fine now just no reason to play him vs UTM. He'll be ready against Bama.

I love even when it is a running play he is blocking his *** off. He seems to want to be a complete player, not just a WR that is going to half way run his route if he isn't getting a pass thrown his way. He keeps after it and he will be catching passes in the NFL for a long time.

He was warming up prior to the game. He was getting around pretty well based on the eye test.
