Hello Andy,
got a hypothetical question for you and I hope I can explain this the
way I want it to come out. In the past teams have lost star players for
the year right before Selection Sunday and some experts have said that
the committee needs to take into account the team that actually will
play in the tournament when seeding, not necessarily the team if they
had their missing star player. To me this makes sense but doesnt really
sound fair. Taken that in reverse, IF the NCAA was to clear Renardo
Sidney right before the tourney, could you justify the committee
elavating Miss State a seed or two using the same logic. That said, do
you think he is ever deemed eligble? By the way, this is a joke, clear
him or ban him, dont levae it in limbo. Thanks Andy</p><h6 style="float: left;" class="sn">Andy Katz<div style="font-size: xx-small; display: inline; font-weight: normal;">(11:24 AM)</div></h6>
The
selection committee would want to see how the Bulldogs played with him.
At this point, it might be hard to put him in the lineup without
disrupting the chemistry of the squad. The NCAA has won. They have
dragged out the case to where he won't play this season. Now they
should just try on working on him playing next season.</p>
